The new season with a new Battle Pass is switched live today.
It feels like forever since season 1 of fortnite: chapter 2 was already there, but his end is close. The second season begins today and will probably see updates on the map, a new Battle Pass with various cosmetics and some new game mechanics. Epic Games has announced that the downtime for server maintenance starts at 4 o'clock in the morning ET.
The Official Twitter of the game also found that the patch sizes would be greater than normal, as this is the beginning of a new season. You have to wonder about the different changes that come in particular in relation to the Battle Royale card. We just have to wait for this "activated" nonsense in a few hours.
FORTNITE: Chapter 2 began in October 2019 after the popular event "The End", where the old card was destroyed. It was assumed that it would leave last January, but Epic Games announced a continuation until February. Not that there would have been no different events and collaborations during this time, most recently one with Raubvögel, the new Harley Quinn movie.
