How to make leather in Windbound

Make leather is a necessity in Windbound if you want to make objects. But seize leather is not easy. You must acquire it by killing the good animals, then make it yourself, because it is not prepared in advance.

The first thing you need to know is what animals drop when you fight them in combat. The Planstalkers are your best choice to get skin and, although the Gloomharrows also leave skin, theirs can not be made of leather.

Once you have got an animal skin, you have to cook for leather. You can do it by drying it on a fire. We have already explained how to make a fire in Windbound here, so go there you do not know how to make one.

Now that your fire is running, you will need to build a drying support. You need two sticks and three grass strings to make one. The drying grid is above your fire once it is turned on, and you can cook it up to three items.

To add skin to a drying medium, interact with your fire to display its manufacturing menu. The leather tile is the first that your cursor selects when you open the menu, so press the Craduation button to add it to a drying slot. It will take time to make the leather, then explore the island on which you are in the meantime. When you return, the leather should be ready.
