Nearly 60 players not released: Premier League

The clubs of the English Premier League refuse to stop almost 60 players for upcoming internationals due to the Corona Pandemic.

As the league announced on Tuesday in a statement, the clubs reluctant, but unanimously decided decided not to release players whose lots in countries are held on the red list next month.

According to statement, the decision concerns nearly 60 players from 19 Premier League clubs that would have traveled in 26 countries of the Red List. The players would have to be in quarantine for ten days after their return.
