Eggestein was changed as a youth player 2013 from TSV Havelse to the Weser. In 2016, he made his debut for the professionals in the DFB Cup for which he completed a total of 46 Bundesliga pair (five goals). In the past season he was borrowed from October to the end of the year to Linz AK and came 18 times in the Austrian Bundesliga (eight goals).
So the change to Antwerp, which after two matchdays is punishable last in the first Belgian league.
