NVIDIA confirms that the GeForce NOW leak is real, but the list includes speculative titles
Yesterday, a list of NVIDIA GeForce Now of unannounced games was filtered online, possibly ruining a lot of titles. Since the debut of the list, players have been debating their authenticity, and now NVIDIA has intervened in the situation. In a statement provided to WCCFTECH, the company stated that some of the games are under development, although some are speculative , which means that some of the games listed could not really be in development. That response will undoubtedly lead to continuous speculation of fans, particularly as the games on the list are announced in the coming weeks and months.
« Nvidia is aware of a list of unauthorized published games, with launched and / or speculative titles, which are used only for monitoring and internal tests. The inclusion in the list is not a confirmation or an announcement of any game , reads in the statement. Nvidia took immediate measures to eliminate access to the list. No personal information or compilations of confidential games was exposed. «
At least one game on the list has been confirmed, ironically a completely different filtration! The list contained a new version of Troad all humans! 2 , which was confirmed through an advance published today in the official Twitter account of PlayStation. That tweet has been eliminated since then, but the cat is already out of the bag. Nvidia will probably see that this is the case for the rest of the games that were on the list; While it is possible that the company has eliminated access, there are still several places where you can find online, even if we do not know what elements are accurate and which were added according to speculation of nvidia.
For now, videogame fans will only have to wait and see what the future holds! Nvidia's escape insinuates a possible Final fantasy IX Remake, a new Tactic Final Fantasy , GTA remasters that were rumored, and many more games than fans would love to happen. With luck, we will get answers to some of those rumors earlier than late.
